Bin bag action

Do you still have unused residual waste or organic (GFT) bags? Instead of returning them to Interrand, you can also donate them to Villa Fura vzw.

Drop them off before May 15:
> Olmenstraat 19
> Burggravenhof 25 (Villa Fura)

The value of the bags will go to Villa Fura and help the residents cover their shared expenses.

Villa Fura is a local housing project for 8 people with mild disabilities, who gradually grow towards greater independence.


Update 25-04-2026

The counter now stands at: 

  • Rest bin bags: 176 small, 63 large

  • Organic (GFT) bags: 26 small, 24 medium, 10 large

Total: 299 bags! 🎉

A big thank you to everyone who has contributed so far! Together, we are truly making a difference.


Final result of our bin bag action:

We collected 531 unused bin bags and exchanged them for a 603,70 euro credit with Interrand.

Warm thanks too for Interrand staff and their director Bart Vandewiele for their collaboration with our bin bag collection project.

The account of Villa Fura vzw with Interrand will be credited with an amount of 603,70 euro. With this credit Villa Fura and its inhabitants expect to cover their garbage collection services for a substantial period.
